ADT have not been around to my property for months if they had they'd have seen that house is inhabitable therefore I can't be doing checkd on system. Promises right from beginning not adhered to and they just don't care. Then I ask for cancellation penalty and it's gone up more than R1000 from when I asked in November. So the more hou pay the more your penalty to cancel is. How does that work? I refuse to pay this so will have to keep paying installments but they just take it upon themselves to send me an sms notifying me of cancellation as at end June. I have all correspondence in writing as i refuse to speak to adt telephonically. How can they just do what they want? Since last year when I took contract It's been a total waste of money. Only time they even come around is when I complain and I get a note on the gate a couple times then nothing until I complain again. I regret ever signing a contract with adt but I also will not pay the ridiculous cancellation fee. As it is im paying monthy for a service i am Not receiving. Do yourselves a favor and don't use ADT. Not worth it.

I will escalate this to our accounts department to contact you via e-mail.
Our Customer Services and the Manager of your area tried to make contact with you telephonically and was unsuccessful in their attempts. Our Customer Services agent then received an e-mail from you, asking not to call you and that you would like to cancel and that's when they went ahead to process your cancellation and provide you with the balance of your contract. via e-mail
The accounts Manager will be able to make the decision on the way forward. Your cancellation is pending till the end of June 2022.
Will discuss this with Management and get the credit controller to e-mail you with their decision.

As I thought the R3k plus was hectic In Novembervbut now it's even more so I can't cancel. I'm very unhappy with adt and regret signing contract but I'm not prepared to pay cancellation fee so will be forced to pay monthly fee. Don't know what I've paid for from start as mentioned.

Please advise if there is anything that I can maybe assist you with to resolve your concerns that you have experienced with Fidelity-Adt. I would like to resolve them by escalating this to Management to address the concerns that you have with our services. Please advise on this.
I've already sent this to the Accounts department and they will be in contact with you shortly via e-mail, to possibly advise you on how much they can reduce the Balance of contract to, if possible.
You can then decide to accept the offer and continue to cancel, or not accept the offer and we can re-instate your services and continue as normal, at the rate offered of R350 including Vat, which is the monthly instalment currently on your account.
Please respond to the e-mail that you will receive and provide us with feedback.
