ADT refuses to cancel Debicheck Mandate on cancelled contract.

Do not sign a Debicheck with ADT - they refuse to cancel it, so they can continue to draw from tour bank account forever without your permission and your bank will not assist you get a tefind and they will kot cancel the debicheck.

Over several weeks I have written to ADT sevetal times that I am very reluctant to review their worrying behaviour on Hellopeter. That has not helped me get a rational response from ADT.

I don't know what to do.

ADT refuse to cancel a Debicheck Mandate on my Bank even though the contract was cancelled 3 years ago (August 2021) and despite numererous telephone calls and seven emails over four weeks. ADT decline to cancel the Mandate because they say "trust us - we will not draw from your account because the contract is cancelled." They do not acknowledge that they have an unjustified authority to withdraw money from my account. If they won't cancel the debicheck, can I trust them to refund any wrongful withdrawals?
