ADT not trustworthy -don't go near them.

I phoned ADT in early March for a quote. A guy came and gave me a quote. I signed it as ADT ( I thought) was a trustworthy well known Co. After I signed, he said that if he were me he would not give them access to my property, because if they have an axe to grind with the Co they can go up and down the road opening your gate, or just materialize on your property for no reason. He also said they "are not a traditional security co", I spoke to my son who was horrified at those statements and he phoned the same guy the next day. This guy reaffirmed to my son all that he had told me. From then on we tried to cancel. At no stage did any technician pitch up and try to install anything. We have cancelled with the salesman, Shale, by phone email and sms and Whatsapp. We have confirmation by sms from the head office that the policy was cancelled and also by email. A woman phoned me from CT asking why I was cancelling and I told her. She asked if there was any way she could change my mind- I said ABSOLUTELY NOT. Trying to shake these people is like getting chewing gum off your shoes. This morning to top it all, I get an account from them for April. We do not have ADT installed on my property and never have had. If I find they take money from my bank account, I will sue them. Their cancellation is on my phone and email. By the way, they said two free months -the debits were meant to start on the 1st June-why are they sending me accounts??? Stay away from this dreadful company whose staff can't be trusted according to Shale their salesman.
