ADT - not to be trusted

We contacted ADT Security to install an alarm system at our property in Darrenwood in July 2018. Even after the alarm was tested and confirmed to be in working order the property was broken into and goods to the value of +R100,000.00 was ******. The alarms did not go off and no signal was sent to their control and we were unaware of the event up until we arrived back at the premises. We tried to seek compensation from ADT and even after their representative acknowledged that it was clearly evident that their sub contractors who did the installation were obviously involved in the break-in their final offer as compensation was =-R5,000.00.
