ADT NOT CANCELLING THE CONTRACT

ADT (Leon Pelzer) approached me and convinced me that ADT was better than our current security company, that their response times and patrolling are better. We cancelled our contract with our then security company (TOP SECURITY) based on the promises made. Well what a mistake, ADT was great for the first week, then, it takes between 5-10min just to receive a call from their contact centre and another 10-15min for a car to arrive at the premises, we complained nothing happened, a month into the contract our radio was giving ADT control centre false alarm signals and we received calls all hours of the day sometimes more than once, we complained nothing happened. another month later after waiting for weeks on end for a technicians to come and fix the problem we decided to cancel the contract based on the rules and regulations of the CPA, we gave them notice and made ourselves available to collect their radio, nothing happened, they still deduct their fee, they still take a life time to follow up on a false alarm and they haven't cancelled the contract on their side! What should we do next? Disconnect their radio ourselves? Block their payments at the bank? Useless company & people
