Adt no show until you call

Wow after waking from a ringing alarm after 10 at night & having received a call at 10:07 it was suprising that the alarm just went off with no response team coming to the premesis. We even had to call them back to enquire about their turn around time at 10:22. At 10:28 we got another call from a very rude call agent who informed us of the activation but how suprising was that since the alarm was off I continued on the call with her advising that we still haven't had any assistance and she just dropped the call in my ear. We had to wait a from 10:07 until 10:35 when we heard the response team was making noise at the gate. So tell me how exactly is one supposed to stand outside and confirm if this is the right residence if there is a BIG Adt Board outside? Thought that at least they could have jumped the gate/wall & knocked at the door but clearly that would be expecting too much from them. We could be dead or trapped inside by intruders.... the alarm wouldn't stop ringing after being armed at 11:02 called again but was told all lines where busy & I will be called back but had to call again at 11:11 where I was assisted but it didn't stop ringing.
