ADT - NEVER THERE

Don't sign a ADT response contract. For 5 months they did not receive any radio signals from their radio. When I queried them I was told it is my responsibility to test my alarm, not their's to notify me that they do not receive the relevant test signals from my alarm system, so I paid for 5 months for a service they did not deliver - monitoring of my alarm system. Asked for cancellation letter on the 20/04/2018. Completed it and send it back - service stop date was 31/07/2018 as we sold our property. They keep on deducting monthly fee, August & September. When I phone they claim they never received my cancellation letter. Re-mailed everything to them. Get confirmation email from Chante Jacobs on the 06/09/2018 that service are cancelled with immediate effect. I phone my bank and reverse September's fee as it is now cancelled. REMEMBER IN THE INTERM ADT IS ALSO CHARGING THE NEW OWNERS FOR MONITORING AND ARMED RESPONSE AT THE SAME ADDRESS. On Tuesday 30 July I receive an SMS from Norman Bissett & Associates that my ADT account is now in pre-legal with contact number ***. Tried to phone them couple of times a day since then. No answer, phone does not even ring, just start to play music immediately. Now discovered that it is some sharecall number or something, where they actually charge you when you dail the number, so they make money by not answering the phones. Back to ADT again, reached Marelize Van Zyl. She does not have access to 'old' ADT system, only new Fidelity ADT system and could not assist. Asked me to mail her details, she would take up with 'guy doing the credits'. Mailed it through, now no response. ADT promises: 'ADT Always there' but the truth of the matter is: 1. Radio not sending a signal for 5 months - ADT not there 2. Sending cancellation letter through to them - ADT not there 3. Try and resolve ADT's failure to cancel account - ADT not there. Question is: Where is the honesty, integrity and reliability? I certainly did not experience nor received it. I would definitely never ever in my life sign anything with ADT again.
