ADT Midrand technical team Trash!!!

I'm appauled by the *********** service received from the ADT Midrand technical team, the manager and technical team do not care if they are putting your life and household goods in danger.

A technician came to install armed response software on an existing system which he had trouble with as he was not fami**** with the texecom system, installation didn't go well because at 2am the alarm went off by itself, tried disarming the alarm but the codes didn't work. The alarm rang through out till my husband decided to cut the siren. ADT kept calling a million times asking if we were safe and we told them a million times that we need a technician to undo the mess.

McQueen told us that a technician will come and sort out the issue, I asked what time is the technician coming as we have to travel. He said he does not have a time but the technician will come, this communication took place at 10am. 2pm I decided to call ADT, only to find out that the technician will come after five. We requested to speak to McQueen and we told him that when the technician arrives he must uninstall their software and leave our system the way they found it as we are cancelling. He said it's fine.

When we came back from Mbombela we were surprised to find the software that we requested to be removed still in our home. To make matters worse, today we were told that we need to pay R4400.00 for a new system because the system we have been using is old but guess what the system was working well for the past three years till the technicians ruined it. This is how ADT Midrand, technical team compensates us for the inconvenience they have caused us. They should have advised from the beginning that the system is old and they will not be able to work on it instead of trying their luck.

I wouldnt recommend this company to anyone all because of the technical team..... Trash!!!!!!
