ADT IS USELESS!!

We moved into a new premises at the end of June 2019 which we are renting. The owner had an ADT alarm system installed years ago and had been using their services. We wanted the security company we were using at our previous home to just take over at the new premises and they came to install their radio receiver the day we moved in. They however could not reconfigure the control panel as they did not have the master code used by ADT when they install an alarm system. The landlord also did not have these codes. We were only able to activate and deactivate the alarm with the remotes and use the stay button for activation at night when we were sleeping. We cannot change anything on the current system like bypass zones or use our own codes to arm or disarm the alarm. So we were forced to contact ADT to get a quote for their services. I explained to the sales lady that we DO NOT have the master code for the system and she promised me that ADT's technicians will have the codes and that it will be sorted out. She came to my house and we signed the new contract. More than a week later the technicians arrive without being told that we do not have the master codes. They had to leave as they also could not bypass the system as was promised to me when I signed the contract. The technician said he will need to come back with a laptop to reconfigure and reset the control panel. Fast forward another two weeks where I needed to contact ADT and ask when are they going to come finish their work? So a few days later the technician comes and tries to reset the control panel without success. I phoned the sales lady who sold me the contract to say that ADT can not live up to their promises and the only reason why I signed with ADT is because they promised the master codes won't be an issue. So she sells me a rental contract for 24 months at no extra cost where ADT will install a whole new alarm system. Two weeks later again I need to follow up with her as to when the technician will come to install as I need to take off from work and need to arrange that beforehand. No, someone will phone me. No one phones. Two days goes by and I ask again when will the technician come out? She responds that it has been arranged for Wednesday 21 August between 12h and 17h, but the technician will phone me an hour in advance so I can leave work and be at my house on time. So I take a half day's leave to be at home in the afternoon when the technician will finally be here to install the new system. At 11H30 they phone to say they're at my front door. They were not notified by ADT that they were supposed to call me an hour in advance. I work an hour away from home so I tell them to wait until I get there. At 12h30 I arrive at my house and the technician from an outsourced company comes inside and begins to count all the zones. He informs me that there is a 16 zone system installed and I was quoted on a 8 zone system, also that an 8 zone system won't work on the 16 zone system. I phone the sales lady and tell her what's happening and that she quoted me on the wrong system. She then talks to the technician who tells her why an 8 zone won't work and that a whole new control panel and keypad X64 must be installed. I am fuming at this stage as all the promises ADT made were lies! It seems they want you to sign that contract as soon as possible and then don't install the unit within the 5 days you have as cooling off period so you as consumer and client can see if ADT actually can do the job you're paying them for. The sales lady sent me the quote for the new control panel and keypad, which again I had to ask for. I feel like I want to cancel my contract with ADT as I signed the contract only on condition that they can fix the problem with the master codes. I am now forced to pay an arm and a leg for a new control panel and keypad from ADT where I could have gotten more quotes from other companies to compare, had they told me from the beginning that if I don't have the master code then they can't help me.

I need someone from ADT senior management to contact me to have this sorted out immediately.
