ADT is too much of an industry GIANT to care!!!!!!

Around November last year (2014) we purchased a building in Bellville. The alarm monitoring was done by ADT and we agreed to continue as such. The signing up process was a nightmare. It was a comedy of errors. Unfortunately this was the start of a frustrating process. Contracts were agreed upon and signed. Then in December after the contracts were signed, we waited to be added to the monitoring system and went through the festive period without the monitoring being transferred in our name. As a result all signals were not being monitored by a client, I.e. SMS were going to nobody. So we owned a building and were unaware of whether our alarm was armed or not and by which tenant. finally after this was resolved, we received a threatening SMS that the service would be suspended if our account was not brought up to date, we don't control the debit order, ADT does. For the past three weeks we have liaised with several representatives to personalize our sms's and monitoring signals and once again we are ignored, pathetic. We receive sms's that do not contain enough detail and are trying to be proactive in reducing risk and our security provider simply does not care. Wrong choice.
