ADT is the worst

I cancelled my account with ADT 3 years ago and they are still sending me letters. now I have lawyers hounding me, when I followed the correct procedure to cancel, their call centre is useless everyone says they have dealt with my query next thing you receive emails. How hard is it to cancel an account. oh lets not forget the poor visibility of their security guards and when there is an emergency they take for ever to arrive.
