ADT don't care about your safety

Sitting at work I received a phone call from ADT informing me that my alarm had gone off. I instructed them to send someone out to inspect as I was at work, about 15-20 min away. I immediately jumped in my car and drove home. I then received a phone call from ADT, when I was about 500m away, informing me that the response team couldn't gain access to the premises. As irritated as I was with this comment I accepted it as I was a few minutes away. (In my experience the ADT response guys are generally quite scared and would rather not act any further). Upon arrival at home ADT was no where to be found. The alarm was still ringing and I had to enter my house unassisted. Luckily for ADT it was a false alarm, but had there been a real incident I was left to deal with the consequences on my own. It makes me wonder if they were actually really there in the first place. They never even followed up with me.<br> <br> I phoned their Cape Town branch to complain about the lack of service. I was promised a phone call from the supervisor. I wonder how long I'll be waiting...
