ADT armed response is a joke
I left for work at 07:15 on 17 June 2020. I got a phone call at 07:55 from ADT telling me my alarm went off. They asked if they should send armed response and I said yes. Then they called me 08:15 saying armed response checked and everything was in order. When I got home at 13:45 I found the windows of my house wide open & everything scattered. Someone was clearly in my house and stole my laptop, smart device, my girlfriends clothes, handbag & shoes to the value of R20 000. How could they tell me everything was in order, but I came home to a house broken in? I called them immediately and asked for a report of the inspection that was done at my house, they agreed to send me a report. That was on the 17th of June 2020 and to date I did not receive a report from them. I only received a letter from them stating that they were going to increase my premium. I sent an email to them stating how unhappy I was with the armed response’s negligence by allowing ******* to break in to my house and ***** my things. I also said I am still waiting for the report from the armed response and will be holding them liable for my loss. They did not respond to my email to date. Pathetic service from a “security” company.
