ADT are pathetic!! DONT EVER USE THEM! I HATE ADT

I have been a client for years with slow monitoring. Sometimes a call comes a hour after the alarm activated.<br> I have also had the control officer lie directly to me stating that the key holder WAS called and they spoke to her and she said all was ok - and they were referring to me?!?!<br> <br> But my issue now is that ADT systems are pathetic. I moved premises END FEB 16. ADT can't change the address, they have to CANCEL the old contract and start a NEW contract - I fought against it. <br> \Don't worry M'am - it is not a new contract, this is just how we have to update the address on the system.\"<br> I signed for an address change and made it clear that I was not signing a new contract with them as I DID NOT want to be tied in to a pathetic company.<br> <br> They understood. paperwork goes in. The admin office calls me to say that I will pay extra because I never gave them 30 days notice to cancel the old contract. I DID NOT CANCEL - I JUST MOVED ADDRESS.<br> <br> NOW FINALLY end of March - I send a letter to cancel the contract at end of APR16 - now I get a letter that I will be billed R2772 FOR AN EARLY TERMINATION FEE!!! Because they once again think I took out a new contract. I HATE ADT!!!<br> <br> "
