On Saturday (23/01/2016), my family and I were in Durban and my alarm went off in PMB. I received a call at 4.55pm. I was told that the armed response will be sent out and that we will be notified on the findings. On my way back to Pmb, I called the control room, this was at 17:30pm. I was told that they have an influx of call outs and they dnt have enough man power ( armed response vehicles). By then I was fuming because this is not my fault that they have a lack of service.I arrived home at 18:00pm, and still there was no trace of an armed response vehicle. At 19:00pm an armed response vehicle arrives, the security presses the intercom. My husband asked him to leave as we don't require his late response. He said he only received the message 3 minutes before he arrived at my premise and that he only started work at 18:00pm that evening.<br> I called the Cape Town armed response room and spoke to a Anthea who is the senior incharge of armed response. I explained the entire complaint to her but all she did was listen and said that she will follow up and get back to me :(. Is this the service many of us pay for. A two hour response after and alarm activation, this is really a poor service
