Pond pump broke down in just two weeks

We bought a pump at Adendorf on 10 January 2024 it's tripping the electricity the salesman was told that we use it for the pond and he did not mention that we are not supposed to , when i contacted them they told me that the pump is not used for ponds and only used to pump water out of the pond no one told us this when we bought it, and we have being using pumps looking exactly like this one for years in our pond just those pumps lasted for atleast a year plus where Adendorff's pump lasted TWO WEEKS only now they want us to bring it in to be repaired and what about the kois in the pond, while the pump is in for repairs, if you make your pumps of such a low quality then you need to tell people not to use it in a pond,
