Don't be fooled by Anderdorff's so called WARRANTY.

I bought a drill from Rustenburg branch on 2017/10/25, along with other items (grinder and pipe bender). Invoice number INRB ********** .

On 1 March 2018, I took the drill in for warranty claim, as it was well within the 2 year warranty (the salesperson said only 1 year, but either way, well within warranty),. (Whilst drilling a 4.8mm hole through 2mm steel, a puff of smoke came out and tripped the power, after which it stopped working).

Last week, in April 2018, we were returned our faulty drill, stating that 1. It is overworked (which is VERY hard to believe). 2. It is irreparable. and 3. It cannot be replaced under warranty, since the warranty does not cover the armature.... This exclusion was however not mentioned by the salesperson when purchasing the drill. (and why should he, if it is going to impact the branch sales and his commission, right?)

So a drill that was used within its specification, for purposes it is intended for, within 4 months of purchase, broke a faulty part that I have no control over - yet, I have to pay for it???

Fool me twice.... Not likely Adendorff.
