PATHETIC, TERIBLE SERVICE, ABSOLUTE WASTE OF TIME.

Absolutely shocking service at the new Ackermed Clinic, this is supposed to be 24/7 for emergencies.

I arrived early hours in the morning, I stood outside the door while 3 people inside sat and stared at me for 5 minutes before opening, I then stood by the door while the security asked what I wanted, I continued to walk in while insisting I need a medical professional to help me.

The nurse was sitting with her feet up, covered with a blanket from head to toe. I explained that my brother has been bitten by a dangerous dog and asked if she can help me and if not what do I need to do, her response was "Eish, I don't know?".

I then tried to speak to the receptionist who refused to look at me while I spoke, and completely ignored me even after I politely asked her to help me. I then insisted that I chat to someone who knows what to do, and again, the nurse and receptionist told me they "dont know", I further asked if they can ask the Dr. what I need to do and they refused saying I need to open a file and pay R700 in order for me to find out if they can help me or whether I need to get to a hospital to clean the wounds and get a tet**** shot.

Eventually, the Security went to ask the Dr, and he said the Dr insisted that there is nothing they can do for me.

What an absolute waste of time and poor pathetic service, so much for private care, when I received better service at a run-down government hospital. Absolutely ridiculous. Don't ever go there if you have an emergency!! You will die waiting.
