Shame on You

I bought my Acer top of the range laptop at an Acer dealer in Malaysia because my old Acer packed up on me whilst overseas. I was promised an International warranty and was informed it is applicable in SA. I spoke to Acer technical in Johannesburg and was informed that the International warranty expired as soon as I as a South African enter SA. In other words my Acer's warranty is worth nothing because I bought it overseas. If I was a foreigner in SA the warranty will be applicable in SA....My wife bought an Apple Ipad in Singapore and Apple gladly serviced and fixed it in SA under warranty...Acer your warranty is NOT WORTH THE PAPER IT IS WRITTEN ON >>>SHAME ON YOU!! Buy any other product but stay away from ACER!!!
