never buy Acer laptop

Bought one of Acers top range laptops. Machine crashes every day 3-4 times. Laptop came pre loaded with windows 8.1. Optical drive never wrote to certain disks.<br> <br> Phoned repair/warranty center only to be told that I must reload operating system. Means I will lose all info on machine so has to be backed up, as well as go through whole process of setting up machine again. This seems like a very \easy way"to solve a problem from Acers side but not mine. <br> <br> This is really the type of service I expected when I spent over 12k on a laptop. <br> <br> Had a Sony laptop previously"
