My Acer Extensa 15 is c**p

I've had an Acer Extensa 15 laptop EX 215-52-39T9 (S/N ***) for 10 months now and I can only say that it's c**p. It was supooised to bring me into the now but it actually performs worse than my twenty year old desktop which i decided to move away from because of Windows 7 support cessation and looking to have more modern technology. But this thing is so frustrating: performs soooo slowly, frequently freezes, doesnt open software without a long wait and more. I fully appreciate that I have a somewhat bottom of the range model and that, with its Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-1005G1 CPU @ 1.20GHz 1.19 GHz processor and a hard drive (as opposed to sollid state storage) I'm not going to reach the stars but I can't get any work done. It takes three to five timers as long to complete any job. That said, I also fully appreciate that its not just the device, Software and connectivity is probably also a huge factor but jeez! - all I want is to be able to operate in it without all of the frustration.
