ACER Laptop

Purchased 2 ACER laptops in January 2019. In May the one laptop failed and the service agents indicated a mother board failure - cost to repair - R 9,000. This is the same price as a new laptop and it has been deemed as uneconomical to repair. Have asked Acer SA to consider some assistance, however they have declined as it is 4 months out of warranty. I am dissapointed with ACER as the product has not lasted more than 16 months - a product which should last aprox. 5 years at least. I cannot afford to spend another R 10,000 within such a short time to purchase a new and am not likely to purchase or recommend an Acer product.
