2 months old laptop defect
I bought a laptop (acer aspire E1-572G) in December 2014. In February the laptop wouldn't charge when plugged in. I took the laptop to DionWired who sent it to Acer Sandton. The response from Acer was that I had to pay for the damage as warranty does not cover negligent.

The laptop is in mint condition, it has never fallen or been damaged. The problem with the charger must be some kind of defect as the laptop was well taken care of. I tried to explain this to Sizwe via online chat and he said I had to log a complaint with Europe [URL Removed] on a link that doesn't work.

Conclusion: it is unfair to expect me to pay for something wrong with a brand new laptop. This should be covered by warranty as the laptop condition proves I did not damage it.

Case ID: ***S
