Hello,

As our retail manager explained to you on the shop floor, the statement of "up to 26 hours" cannot be considered false advertising. The same principle applies for any unit that uses battery power. For example a cell phone can say that it has up to 3 days battery life, but this statement is made assuming that the phone will be used in the most economic way possible, if you try to use the phone up to its maximum capacity clearly the battery will not last for the full time stipulated. This same principle applies to the SW-HS-5L kit that you have purchased. If used at its most economical setting (only 1 light), the battery will last 26 hours. This is standard practice when trying to give customers an idea of battery life, as it is not always possible to explain all the possible uses of the unit and how long the battery life will last for all of them, when you only have a small space to do so.

The SW-HS-5L is a great product, and we stand behind the quality of the unit. If this misunderstanding of battery life has rendered the unit completely unusable on your part, we will be willing to accommodate you and, with a 5% handling fee for repackaging and processing of the unit, we will allow you to swap the unit for anything of similar or greater value in our store. If you find this compromise acceptable, please contact our retail manager David Sparrow on *** to facilitate the exchange.

We apologise for any inconvenience that this misunderstanding may have caused on your part, and we hope that we will be able to resolve the issue to your satisfaction.

Best regards,
