Bad service from online order - Do not purchase from ACDC unless you want to struggle a lot!

An online order was placed on 26 October 2022 from their online site. A few issues arose which were quickly sorted by the online team.

However, since then there has just been absolutely no service at all: 1. I had to send follow-ups every week to get the progress of the order. 2. When we went to pick up the order, they did not even have all of the stock. When the order was placed, their online site showed sufficient stock available. They never even notified me that not all of the stock is available for the order - I had to enquire why all of the stock is not available after the pickup. 3. I then waited another week. When I phoned the salesperson, they said they could order the stock for me. Why should I have to phone and ask to them to do their job if the order was paid already? It is their job to order the stock and give feedback to me, not the other way around. This was already 15 November 2022 (3 weeks later). 4. After this happened, I asked for a refund. There were a thousand reasons every time why they can't process the refund. When I send documentation to them, they come back with one reason every time and don't give me a full list of what is needed to process the refund. This process, therefore, took 2 weeks and then they still complained to process the refund - I've never had to submit this many documents to any company for a refund and still, they did not process the refund to date (12 December 2022).

I also asked that the head of sales give me a call about this experience (they mentioned a lady named Nicole). To date, I have not received a call back from Nicole which just shows that this laid-back attitude goes from the bottom line to the management level.

Also, during this time, I asked them to provide me with details of the package ready for collection so that I can send the courier to collect it. I then had to drive through to collect the order as, to date, I did not receive any response from them regarding the package count, dimensions, and weight (after phoning twice and sending follow-up emails). They just blatantly ignore your requests and don't do their job.

I would not recommend purchasing from ACDC online unless you are prepared to call twice daily and do the jobs of the people they employ to ensure that you get your stock. Rather purchase from Lite-Glo or other online retailers. I purchased from them and you can't even compare the two.
