ACDC REFUSES REFUND ON ITEM UNDER WARRANTY

I purchased a 1AMP ACDC Dynamic power supply to charge my portable animal scale on the 13/11/2015 from ACDC Express in Somerset West. The power source stopped working on the 8/03/2016, I took it to the store for repair/ refund.Repair note 08813 was issued. On the 14th of March i was informed by Garth that ACDC will not be repairing the item as it was affected by a power overload and that I bought the incorrect power supply. This is clearly ******* as the battery to be charged is rated .96 AMPS under the 1 amp that I was supp****. Also the previous power supply lasted over 3 years. They are trying to avoid the warranty claim by saying it was overloaded but this is clearly not the case. I will also submit a complaint to the consumer ombudsman. All this for R168 and they will loose a loyal customer
