ACDC Dynamics Richmond Dispatch - horrid encounter

I sent an inverter for repairs on 04 April 2023 to the ACDC Richwood Repair Centre. After 6 weeks (I was told it would be 4-6 weeks) I still had not heard any responses. Upon calling on the 7th week I found out it had been ready for collection for a while. Upon collecting - it turned out my inverter had been dispatched to someone else. To make it worse, the person who collected signed the sheet with my name. The cherry on top? The Dispatch Manager tells me that they have received the correct inverter and have tested it for me, and says that the person who took it did not use it. The cheek..

Firstly - make sure you put your serial number of the device to be repaired 2nd - there is warrenty associated with electronic products. If the product has been in the hands of a third party - there is no gurantee that the product was used correctly. Thus insist on a replacement or an extended warranty. Such an electronic repair centre should not be so unprofessional as to hand out incorrect equipment to the wrong people.
