ACDC Dynamics not honouring refund policy for Inverter

Purchased an Inverter (CPS-1000W Pure Sine Wave) from ACDC Ballito on the 1 July 2022. After going home only to find that it doesn't even turn on... Went back to the store immediately to request a refund, but they ABSOLUTELY refused to issue the refund after half an hour of arguing. They demanded that my only option was to take a replacement. So being desperate at the time to keep the business running, I opted to try the replacement. After a week a usage, the device began going faulty and really noisy, so I went back to request a refund again. This time they said that it has to be sent for repairs, and now it finally returned 3 weeks later only for them to say that they can't find any fault. They still won't issue a refund and have said my only option is to take the device home. Instead of plugging in a faulty inverter and risking a fire that insurance definitely won't approve a claim for, I'll have to find an alternative solution to the cheap and nasty product that I was sold and duped into buying.

I cannot recommend enough how much more beneficial it would've been to have gone somewhere else. Never again.

Hi, this was largely an issue with previous management at the branch. So far the new manager, Soorae, has been very patient and helpful. Their finance department has been submitting all the proof of payments to head office, but I'm still waiting for the payment to processed by head office... The refund has been authorised, the documents have been submitted over a week ago. Please follow up on the refund progress. Thanks
