Incompetence of the highest order

Unfortunately the lowest rating here is 1 star. This is generous.

I tried to get connected to fibre at my new apartment through Accelerit. I happily paid the required amount upfront, but after 2 weeks I was still not connected. They then tried to force me to use their router, which comes with all kinds of penalty clauses if you cancel within 6 months, even though I explicitly communicated upfront that I had my own router and did not require them to give me a preconfigured router and that my current lease was only 6 months.

Based on them not being able to connect me, I then asked for them to release my line back to SADV so that I could use my old ISP. That process took another week while they dragged their heels. Once they finally released the line, Axxess had me up and running in 24 hours with no fuss.

Fast forward another 2 weeks - I have had to ask and repeatedly chase up on a refund off the money I paid upfront for a service they could not activate. I was told the refund had been processed and when I asked for proof of the EFT as it was not reflecting a week later, suddenly I get told that the refund is still being processed. Either someone is outright lying or the incompetence knows no bounds.

Stay away from Accelerit at all costs. The only exception to the extreme incompetence I have experienced across the board has been Kwanele. But this poor guy is up to his eye***** in the KoolAid Accelerit is dishing out pretending to be a legitimate and well run business. I actually feel sorry for him.
