BAD ADVERTISING, BAD SALES ADVICE , BAD ISP

I signed up for their Marvelous month to month 50/50mb - pre paid options. Free installation, free cancellation. Just what i needed, as i knew i could only afford month to month and at some point i would cancel at any time without being held to ransom by a 12month contract. I cancelled after nine months, got told i am not a customer for 12months and i have to pay a cancellation fee. I did not sign any contracts with this ISP, nor did i agree with a signature of mine to their Terms or Service. I gave them one months notice and at the end when i handed the router equipment back, accounts tried to make it known i owed them a cancellation fee of R1725. This is one of the worst ISP service providers in South Africa, a small time business being run with a staff turnover of ten people maximum. They accepted my cancellation and waited for the last day before springing an invoice onto me. Don't use this ISP, Do not sign up for any free services. You will never get your true Bandwidth, they charge the invoice fees to your account even though it says pre paid, there is no month-month option as they have an auto debit which takes outstanding fees on the 1st of every month. They never have contracts but they are quick to change or reference their terms and conditions to to suit them.... Beware ... you will regret ever signing up with Accelerit.
