Accelerite is the worst business ever
Hi guys I need the get some advise. I have an Accelerite acount for fibre. I have always paid via their website on my mother’s card bacause it didnt want to work on my card. After the second month they decided to do a debit order (without consent) “my mother never signed or authorised” a debit order. Is this legal?? And also we have cancelled the contract because of bad service. We are paying R953 pm for a 50mbps line but have around 2-15mbps. How is this okay?? They also took an additional amount of R215 off which I am not aware what it is for? Can someone assist me with consumer rights here?? This is ****************, this is shocking

25 Apr 2022, 18:23Accelerite is the worst fibre company ever, please do yourself a favour and NEVER subscribe to this useless company. They just take off money from your account without any explanation. I have a 50mbps fibre line from them and pay R953 per month, since we started with them in October 2021 we had issues with the line, you pay the price and don’t get the service. We get around 2mbps-15mbps if we are lucky. Now that I have cancelled they want over R2000 from me for cancellation fee’s, but they broke contract for not giving what I am paying for!!
I always used to pay through their website, I used my mother’s bank card because mine didn’t go through. From the next month they just started taking off the money of her account, the contract isn’t even in her name. Because we asked them to cancel the debit order they took off the money plus an additional amount off the account again.
This company is ******** and useless, please do not ever use them!! With all the complaints I have given through they haven’t sorted out one. Hopefully they will go out of business soon, because they are just *****ing money from people!!!
