Refusing to pay out claim
I purchased a vehicle in 2019 and I was forced to take a AA warranty with the vehicle. I took it with the comfort that if anything goes wrong with the vehicle which was not due to wear and tear I will be covered. Last week the ABS light went on and I took the vehicle to their AA authorized partner who diagnosed that the speed sensor had failed.( not due to wear and tear) I read on my policy that this was covered and when I called AA to claim I was told to get the full service history and diagnosis from their authorized partner which I did. AA came back to me and asked for the service history for 2019 before I owned the vehicle. On the policy there is a part that asks if there is a full service history and AA answered YES either wise why would they agree to cover the vehicle if they could not verify whether it had been serviced in 2019 before I financed the vehicle. This is really not fair from AA warranties. I would not recommend taking their warranty. When it comes to claiming it's a hassle. I am very disappointed and appalled by this.
