AA Warranties - Do not use them
If you want your warranty claims rejected, get a warranty with the AA.
Yes, I get the fact that they make mention of claims will be rejected if modifications are done on the car. I've had a downpipes fitted on my car in Oct 2021 and they've approved two claims since (although not the full amounts). I've had a claim for a power steering pump last year February and according to them, it failed due to wear and tear and therefor repudiated the claim - no mention of a downpipes.
The then replaced power steering pump (which I paid for in cash February 2023) failed again just after a year of having it, the workshop confirmed that it was out of warranty before I contacted the AA again. I booked the car into a workshop, they had an assessor come out and according to them the new power steering failed because of an oil leak??? When I asked about how this was possible, then they mentioned a downpipes and therefore will not pay to have it replaced!
