AA WARRANTIES

PLEASE DO NOT SUPPORT AA WARRANTIES!!!! DO NOT TAKE ANY PRODUCT FROM THEM,YOU WILL LOOSE ALL YOUR MONEY THAT YOU PAID,BECAUSE THEY WILL NEVER PAY ANY CLAIM.IT IS NO USE!!!!!! THEY GIVE PROMISSES THAT YOU WILL NOT HAVE ANY ACCESS TO PAY AND THAT THEY WILL PAY ANY CLAIM,THAT IS A BIG LIE!!! We are AA Warranties existing clients.They do not want to pay my claim for my car that broke down.This is what they say: After careful consideration however, we regret to inform you that your claim has been repudiated on the basis that your policy, underwritten by Lombard Insurance Company Limited states that:We do not cover any resultant damage:Example: If the radiator on the vehicle fails and as a result the engine seizes, the seizing of the engine is the resultant damage that We do not cover. However, We would cover the radiator. I lodge a Dispute to their Complaints department on the 8 June 2022.We have send all the documents to them when we put the claim in.We were not satisfied with conclusion what Ford Rustenburg gave to them in the report,because that were not the problem/or were the problem started etc.Ford Rustenbrg gave a Quote for R107 000 to fix my car,which to me is Insane!!! I took my car for a second opinion because I was not satisfied with Ford Rustenburg.I send all the new documents from the second opinion to the complaints department at AA Warranties. for the First the Quote is R62 000 cheaper same repairs etc,which for me was great. Secondly the company that I went for second opinion who is RMI registerd etc gave a a very good explanation on what the problem really is and where it started etc,But still they do not want to pay my claim.Below is what the second opinion said in their report,which is the truth to were the problem really occurred: So, in this case that Ford Dealership state that the vehicle overheated because of a water pipe that leaked and that is the cause of engine damage with which I DO NOT AGREE!!. If a water pipe leaked it will then slowly loose water and will turn on the water or coolant warning light immediately and warned before overheating, if a coolant pipe busted and lost water immediately I can understand that there will be no sign and will give warning when it is too late and cause damage already, And as far as I know the customer stated that there was no coolant warning light on and if there was he would of stopped to check. Second scenario the dealer stated was that the was on six bar pressure and it is leaking past exhaust ports because of excessive heat that this could also been caused by the burnt valve condition affects the exhaust valves exposed to hot engine gases and parts, and as a result, the valves get damaged.Besides, wear-out of the valves is caused by excess heat exposure from the hot engine gases. AFTER ALL THIS AA WARRANTIES STILL DO NOT WANT TO PAY MY CLAIM.BELOW IS WHAT THE DISPUTE DEPARTMENT SEND ME.THIS IS NOT CORRECT,THEY JUST WANT YOU TO PAY MONEY FOR NOTHING AND DO NOT WANT TO PAY YOUR CLAIM IF YOU PUT A CLAIM IN,ALWAYS STORIES,I READ ON HELLOPETER A LOT OFF BAD THINGS ABOUT AA WARRANTIES.IT IS JUST SAD THAT I DID NOT KNEW IT BEFORE WE TOOK THE WARRANTIES OUT BY THEM. MY VEHICLES IS NEVER OUT OF COOLANT AS TO WHICH THEY SAY NOW.THEY JUST MAKE EXCUSES NOT TO PAY!!!!!!IN FACT I TAKE GOOD CARE OF MY VEHICLES,ALL THE SERVICES IS UP TO DATE ETC. Failure Report noted that : The was brought in and inspected. Found that the pressure test was performed as the vehicle had no anti-freeze in the system and found that a water pipe from head to the radiator bottle was leaking which is the first possible reason for the engine overheating as the vehicle will run low of coolant. This is a result a cylinder head compression test was done to check the compression on the 3 cylinder and we found no compression . Thus the head was removed for move test to be conducted. Visible damage was seen on the head gasket and engine block, cylinder sleeves display marks of seize marks showing signs of the vehicle overheated as a lack of coolant. The cylinder head was sent out to the cylinder head specialist for a report and the head failed the pressure test on 6 bar pressure and 80 degree temperature . The cylinder is leaking on the exhaust ports. As a result the excessive damages caused by the vehicle overheating and the running out of coolant the engine needs to be replaced. We refer you to the following exclusions noted in your attached policy wording: Resultant damage - We do not cover any resultant damage - Example: If the radiator on the vehicle fails and as a result the engine seizes, the seizing of the engine is the resultant damage that We do not cover. However, We would cover the radiator. We have reviewed the merits of your claim, and after careful consideration we stand by our decision to repudiate the claim on the basis of resultant damage . As per the report the water pipe from the head to the radiator bottle was leaking which caused the vehicle to overheat as there was a low amount of coolant in the vehicle . Unfortunately the policy does not cover resultant damage. We confirm that this claim has been managed in line with your policy terms and conditions, as stated above. If you are dissatisfied with our response, or if you feel we have treated you unfairly, you are entitled to approach the Ombudsman for Short-term Insurance (OSTI), who are an external independent office. They will review the merits of both parties independently, and we will abide by their ruling.
