The never ending story..

as executor of my late father-in-law's estate, the last remaining thing to do is to get his Old Mutual shares liquidated to close the estate.

Link Investor services seem determined to keep earning their commission from his few shares by making it virtually impossible for me to get them sold.

each time there is something else I have to supply them with.

finally we settled on the fact that I had to open a separate Late Estate bank account, notwithstanding that this was his only asset to be liquidated.

I sent them the demanded proof of the account by registered mail on 13 September, and head nothing more.

after phoning them today, they acknowledge having received the registered mail in their office, but have not updated their systems with the Late Estate bank details, and no one can find the documents I sent then.

as usually, prmoises to phone me "right back" this time made by consultant Manello proved to be as much a false promise as every other promise to "phone right back".

I have emailed you the documents you have acknowledged receiving and have subsequently lost as I will NOT be incurring the time and expense of sending them again.

now please accept the fact that you are losing the commission on handling these shares and sell them!
