LINK MARKET SERVICES COMPLAINT
On the 3rd of April 2019 and through numerous emails thereafter our firm, Singh and Singh, instructed Link Market Services to close the accounts and the funds to be transferred into our trust account. We were then requested to forward our banking details for verification. After which we were advised that our documents are in order and the account will be updated. A Month later we were then requested to forward our physical address for verification which was done and again we were advised that our documents were in order. From the 4th of June 2019 we have been requesting that the shares be sold, account closed and funds transferred so that the estate can be finalised. Till date this request has not been fulfilled, rather further documentation has been continuously and frustratingly requested from us including, the executors marriage certificate, my Identity Document and the General power of attorney. Despite all requested documents being sent, and us being advised each time that the documents were in order, and making the numerous phone calls as advised to sell the shares, the matter has not yet been finalised. In September we queried a further dividend payment (which our offices assumed was the Final payment after the account had been closed.) made into our trust account Not ESTATE account as directed by our offices. We then advised LINK management that we required a full history of the investment ,which we received . On 15/10/10 Link was instructed to Finally close the account and sell the shares after we were advised there were still outstanding documents which we provided. Link advised that our documents were still not in order and in SHEER EXASPERATION we Instructed LINK to contact the Executrix for instructions to close the account.
Link then requested the ESTATE bank account( which has already been sent to them )from the Executor. our offices sent the Estate account to the Executor Last week, To DATE hereof we have not heard from LINK. Finally we were further advised to get the executor to call your offices to authorise the sale of the shares and to provide her with the relevant banking details. This was done on the 24th of October 2019 and we have since not received any correspondence regarding the sale and payment thereof.
Dear Indira Singh, With reference to your HelloPeter complaint, We would like to advise that we have been in communication with yourself and the executor on numerous occasions advising that the documents received was not in order to proceed with the sale of shares. The Power of Attorney document was not correctly certified and your identity document was not legible and also not certified correctly in order for you as the appointed agent to place the sale. This was brought to your immediate attention. Thereafter you advised our offices that we should contact the executor instead to place the sale. Please note that if the Power of Attorney document was not accepted by our office, we would not be able to use the banking details in the name of the attorney firm. We tried contacting the executor several times but we were unsuccessful each time to place the sale. Kindly note that management eventually received feedback from the executor yesterday with the Nedbank estate late banking details, the account has been updated and the executor will be contacted today at 14:00 for the telephonic sale instruction. HI CAN you desist from passing the BUCK to me and COMPLETELY ABSOLVING YOURSELF AND YOUR *********** STAFF FROM RESPONSIBILITY!!!!!!

Dear Indira Singh, My response was merely providing you with the sequence of events as the delay was not on our side. As mentioned, please note that the executor will be contacted today for the sale instruction and that will dissolve this matter.
