JSE Investor Services - Investors Beware!

A MESSAGE FOR THE MANAGEMENT OF JSE INVESTOR SERVICES It may be easy to invest with the JSE, but beware - trying to sell your shares is a absolute nightmare. I can not conceive of worse service received from any other financial institution in my life. JSE Investor services have provided singularly the most atrocious service I have ever had the displeasure of having to endure. My brother and I are joint executors to my fathers estate. JSE Investor Services have have strung us along for more than a year, on each occasion informing us of yet another outstanding requirement in order to finalise my dear dad's estate. Apart from numerous phone calls and emails over the past year, I have called them three times alone in the past 30 days - on each occassion I am told of one final document that is required. I have purposely on each occassion asked them "is this ALL that is now required?". Every time the answer is in the affirmative. Then silence, and only to discover that they have not have comp**** with our instructions to dispose of my fathers shares. When I call to enquire why my instructions have not been followed through, yet another "last" do****ent is needed. They have promised to call back to confirm that the documentation is "now" in order, but in fact have NEVER returned a call. Most recently the culprits are Thelma and Marlin. In a sense I am glad that my father is not alive to have witnessed your utterly dismal response to our attempts to get my mom the money owed to her. It's her you have really been hurting all the time, with you couldn't-give-a-damn attitude - not so much to us, but to a 90 year old woman who has lost her husband of 63 years. If you cared at all to review the myriad of communications over the past two years between us you will very quickly see why we are so very frustrated. It's been an utterly awful experience dealing with this shameless company, and I advise prosective investors to be very careful where they put their hard earned money - any other stock exchange on the planet would be a better choice.
