<p>My wife submitted duly completed documents for the sale of her MTN Zakhele shares after calling the Link Market services call centre and enquiring on the process and documentation required as well as the turnaround times before funds will be paid out. This was submitted on 4 May 2017 and she was advised that it takes 72 hours for the process to be finalized. She has been calling daily ever since and every agent she spoke to gave her conflicting information and the one rude agent had the audacity to tell her she will recieve the funds when she receives it. Where is customer service in this attitiude. I called on her behalf today and I was advised by Simphiwe that there is no backlog and payments are being done daily but she could not explain the delay on my spouses transaction. I asked to speak to a manager as no one seemed knowledgeable on their workflow processes and turnaround times. I was referred to Calvin who I was told was the manager but his phone went unanswered. I called again and I got a very polite agent by the name of Catherine who was apologetic and she found our application and screened it and said she would escalate to her supervisor as Calvin is in a meeting. This means that no one attended to this application since receipt on the 4/05/2017. I nevertheless asked her to get Calvin to call me regarding this matter as I need those funds to be processed and paid out today. I look forward to the callback and to see if they can recover the service failure and improve on the customer experience. </p>
