Are you a robot or not?

I am in the process of updating my paperwork. Amongst others I have to provide my new banking account details where applicable. In he process I approached JSE Investor Services with the very simple request to register my new banking details. I supp**** all the documentation as requested, Fortunately I had it handy, since I went through the same procedure a while ago... with a company in exactly the same field of business. But what a mess... More than three weeks later I am getting a standard reply, interestingly enough every time signed by another person (or robot), that the selfie I provided is not acceptable. Twice I had somebody more technically inclined assist me in taking selfies. This morning I received a reply that the selfies I provided are not acceptable. Please note that I initially sent in a properly certified copy of my ID. What more should I do? In the meantime I am doubting the very existence of a company entrusted with the assets of probably millions of people.
