Be careful of The Little Shop at 5 on 13th Lifestyle Apartments

On the 3rd of January 2025, midday, I went to ‘The Little Shop AKA ****a shop’ at 5 on 13th Lifestyle Apartment to buy bread. I chose the blue ribbon brand (white) and immediately paid. As i was leaving, I noticed that it expires on the same day 3/01/2025 and then I asked to change it, the girl that works there then tells me that they do not do exchanges or refunds. I understand that it’s a business, but what am I going to do with a whole loaf of bread that expires that day? It’s not like I went home then wanted to come back and exchange it. I saw it immediately and asked her. I tried to get her to call the owner of the store and explain this situation, but she kept telling me that she’s not answering. I ended up leaving the store with no bread, R22 lost and had to come up with another plan for me to eat that day. With all the loaves of bread that were expiring on the same day, with close to nobody going in there because people were still on holiday, I’m pretty sure they had to throw or return those back to the supplier. I am honestly not the reason they overstocked. I’m sure R22 is not a lot to them, but it surely is money I’ve worked for and hurts that I just had to waste it like that. I cannot even find this ****a online to complain directly under its business page and now the Houss company will have to take the fall for it since they operate proudly in their premises.
