24/7 Asap unauthorized debits

In 2016 this company contacted me advertising a panic button linked to your cell phone. They said they would send an sms that would activate the service once signed up, this never happened. They started debiting my account without my service being activated and I tried to contact them on the number they called me from but the number does not take incoming calls. I've tried reversing the debit orders but they keep changing the reference and amounts. They had the cheek to contact me advising me that they have upgraded my service and I told them that I have no service or contact details since 2016 but yet they keep taking my money. They advised me that they would sort it out and send all documentation through to my email regarding contract and contact details, up till date no contract received. In April a female representative from 24/ 7 Asap contacted me with "good news" that they have now reduced my premium from R175 to R140 p/m. I requested that they cancel my non existing service as I have not received any contract and don't have any contact details. She advised me that her manager would send all documentation with contact details and contracts, still waiting. This company is a **** and I would highly recommend that no one takes their calls or test their so called panic system or any other service they offer you. I will be going to the ombutsman to report and sue the organisation for moneys taken over the years.

24/7ASAP team contacted me within hours after my mail, I knew I would be wasting my time telling the sales lady my gripes. I was told by her that she would tell the manager to contact me regarding my refund etc as I've been told before. Luckily I did not hold my breath. No contact from their "manager" to date but received an sms saying that my service has been cancelled. Luckily I have Call Recorder on my phone, saved all correspondence and will be seeing my lawyer soon. I'll be spending more on my lawyers fees but it's the principal. Would have been the perfect service to have and if it worked when my partner and I were electrocuted and burned by a 88000 volt power line across the water on our boat, had to drive ourselves to hospital. Thanks for nothing 14/7 ASAP and 112.

Dear Alistair, Thank you for taking the time in discussing your query with us as well as allowing us the opportunity to conduct our investigation on the matter. As we have discussed, the information required in order to allow you to access the service had been provided to you via text message at the point of application, this is confirmed as per the sales call record that we have also played to you. We have also confirmed that a "test panic alert" had been conducted successfully from your mobile number which was registered to use the service. We confirm that your service has since been cancelled and we hope that our products will interest you again in future. Regards, 24/7ASAP team.

Good morning Talksure/ 24/7ASAP team. Sorry for the late reply, I was away for a few days. I am blown away at your response. First of all you guys never played back my call recording to me from 2016 on the 8th June 2018, that is a total lie. I have a great App on my phone called Call Recorder. Secondly you told me that I was aware that the first message sent to my phone was not a demo but the number that should have been saved. All I said was that it might have been a misunderstanding about the first text message. I would love you guys to play back the call recording on the 8th June 2018 when you apparently played back my recording to me from 2016. I would not be interested in anything you guys would ever have to offer. Remove my number from your system. Regards, Alistair.
