UNHAPPY CUSTOMER

Hi there,

I was a first time visitor to this laundromat, and was quite excited to start using them as I was drawn to the fact that they operated for 24hrs.

Upon getting there, and unloading ALL of my laundry, I was assisted by Lisa who was firstly on her cellphone the entire time, and just seemed lazy and nonchalant regarding my presence there. I eventually had to ask her, soooooo do you weigh the baskets or ???.

She then proceeded to weigh my laundry which came to a total of about R700???.....3 blankets and two light loads.

She then advised me that I need to pay up front (most laundry businesses allow you to pay upon collection), so I was quite surprised by this and asked her where does it state this?..there is no signage or message anywhere that states that.

She advised me that this message is on the board displayed in the laundromat, I checked and this was not the Case.

I refused loaded all my laundry back into my car, went to another laundromat who only charged me R483, and I could pay on Collection.

What a *******, with no proper signage, one lazy employee and ridiculous policies and pricing.

I will never be returning for sure.
