Stopped supporting capitec
I used to love this app but it stopped supporting Capitec. Now it's useless to me. The communication around this issue is non-existent.

It was not our choice to (temporarily) stop updating Capitec accounts in 22seven. We emailed all users with Capitec accounts linked explaining the situation and had an in-app notification activated on Capitec accounts too.
Over the past few months Capitec made a number of changes to their online banking login process. The first was the introduction of a QR code that you're required to scan with your mobile phone’s camera in the Capitec app to approve your logins. Until recently, Capitec offered an alternative login method - the ability to generate a single-use token password in the Capitec app - but this was removed on 30 June 2023. Since then, we've been unable to automatically gather Capitec account information for 22seven users. We weren't given advanced notice that this change was being implemented.
Since then, we've been building support for Capitec’s QR code login process on our Web App (website) and, incidentally, soft launched it earlier this week. You can log in there to give it a try. Once we're comfortable that everything's working as it should, we'll send out another email update to let everyone know.
