Awesome functionality, terrible reliability, and even worse customer service
While the functionality it offers is awesome, the reliability is extremely poor. Without a doubt, it would get 4 stars if it were not for the reliability issue. And only four stars because their communication on these reliability issues is exceptionally bad.
A budgeting app needs to work, every single day, of every single month - otherwise it is useless, utterly useless.

Thanks for the feedback! We're sorry for letting you down.
It appears the main issue you're referring to is the trouble we've had with Discovery Bank accounts since the end of June. This has been a challenge for us and our Svens. Usually, we're able to resolve issues like this on our end, but this particular problem was something we needed Discovery's help to overcome and it of course lead to an influx of support tickets. To add to this, it took a while for us to get to a point where we had valuable feedback to share with our users, because that feedback was dependent on the outcome of our ongoing engagements with the Discovery team. Once we were at a point where we had more info to share, we immediately sent out comms to all 22seveners with Discovery Bank accounts linked to explain the way forward.
To recap those comms: Discovery Bank has requested that 22seven collects data via a direct software integration instead of the screen-s****ing technology we use today.
This usually takes time to build, but Discovery has committed to integrating with 22seven by mid-September. So, we're asking for your patience while we work together to get things back up and running as quickly as possible.
In future, please feel free to keep an eye on the service provider alerts we set in the app. You can access these by selecting your account card on the Accounts screen in 22seven. We review the validity of those on a daily basis, so you can rest assured they're accurate.
We're looking forward to getting our Discovery Bank integration sorted. In the meantime, please let us know if there's anything else we can help with :)
