Poor customer service
Customer service is very poor. My emails go unanswered. Their website is outdated - the email address given on the Tax reports page, goes to an un-monitored mailbox! Clients can't get their current tax certificates from 10x's Client Portal and 10x does not send it to you automatically. You have to phone and ask for them.
Hi Jeanette
Thank you for sharing your feedback.
We would like to clarify that our email response service level is within 8 business hours. Your email had been received approximately four hours before this review, and our team responded within the applicable service timeframe to explain the information reflected on your tax certificate.
Regarding the name appearing on your SARS tax information, 10X acquired CoreShares in 2022, followed by the integration and rebranding of the business and its funds in 2023. As part of this process, CoreShares Index Tracker Managers was renamed 10X Fund Managers (RF) Proprietary Limited. The CoreShares name may therefore still appear in certain records or tax information, reflecting the former name of the fund manager rather than a different investment provider.
As clarified in our correspondence, Class A refers to a Unit Trust investment. We appreciate that differences in fund and manager names can cause confusion, and our team is available to clarify the information reflected on your tax documentation.
We have also taken note of your feedback regarding the website contact details and access to tax certificates, and will raise these concerns with the relevant team.
Kind regards,
10X Client Experience Team
