Bad Manager!

I am not a happy client, not because I am unhappy with my investments, but because 10x has an antiquated system that does not work well.

1. IN December I opened a TFSA - my first debit order was not put into my account for a long time. I had to email several times, to request that they open and disperse the funds.

2. This month, I added a little extra this account, however again this money didn't hit my account. I requested that they look into it. 3 to 5 days I was told, which I duly waited. NOTHING.

3. I email again, now, I am told they have my money, but I didnt give them an instruction for that money. Which is a lie, as I followed the instructions on their platform and did exactly as told.

4. I again, complain that they system doesn't work, however, I am told the system works just fine, followed by the head of "Client Experience" sending multiple emails in defense of the antiquated system. I ask Ms Bagus, to get her manager to call me. She seems to think that she is head of this section of the business, so an escalation would be required. Again, tells me I am clearly not intelligent enough to understand the (doesnt work well) system and explains again in toddler speak - that I am the problem.

A head of "Client Experience" should be grown up enough to understand my complaint, hear what I am saying and not defend a system that clearly does not work well (since this is the second issue I am having).

And as aside - the money is still not in my account. And NOT once did Ms Bagus reassure me that it would be actioned, give me a timeline or give me any sense of comfort that they would meet their obligations.

Dear Briony,

We are truly sorry that your recent experience has left you feeling frustrated and unsupported. That is certainly not the experience we aim to deliver, and we appreciate you taking the time to share your concerns.

We would like to clarify a few points to ensure there is no ongoing uncer*****y.

TFSA Debit Order – December Start Date
Your Tax-Free Savings Account was app**** for in October 2025. In your signed application form, the debit order commencement date selected was 1 December 2025, and the debit order was activated accordingly. There was therefore no delay outside of the instruction provided in your mandate.

February Additional Contribution
With regard to your recent additional payment, the funds were received into our bank account. However, at the time of receipt, there was no formal investment instruction on the My10X portal linked to that deposit.

As a regulated financial services provider, we are required to have a valid client instruction confirming the specific product and fund allocation before investing funds. This is a protective control to ensure that we only act in accordance with explicit client authorisation.

Our records show that the formal investment instruction was submitted on 16 February 2026, after which the funds entered the normal processing cycle.

We understand that from your perspective you followed the steps on the platform and expected the funds to allocate automatically. Your feedback in this regard is valuable.

Communication
We regret that our explanations left you feeling unheard. The intention was to clarify the operational requirements, not to defend a system at your expense.

The Manager of the Client Experience function responded directly to you, which represents the appropriate escalation level within the department. At no stage was any statement made questioning your intelligence; rather, the procedural requirement was reiterated to ensure clarity.

Your funds are being processed in line with standard timelines following receipt of the valid instruction on 16 February 2026.

Please feel free to contact us directly so we can provide confirmation once allocation is complete and assist with any future contributions.

Kind regards,
The 10X Team
