Again, in the space of three months, I am receiving sub-par support service.
Ticket # 395045
I posted the following question:
"Hello
I purchased the hosting service for ******.co.za
The package includes Wordpress, and I would like some guidance as to how I go about creating the Wordpress website?
When going directly via Wordress I am required to pay for the website to be linked to my domain, as it is a .za domain.
Please advise?"
Here is the response I received:
"Good day, on your Linux small package you have the option to install Wordpress in your Cpanel under the Softaculous App Installer, https://fc-use1-00-pics-bkt-00.s3.amazonaws.com/9567d513a243e ********** d934635ed4d7337c0630a925c658cc83c592d95f0ca1/f_marketingpicFull/u_33ffd218fc17bff21f2a281bbd711932e653c40079d46c26a390ecf110a0ea0f/img_ ********** 974289.png"
This does not address the issue at all.
Please cancel my purchase today, 18/3/2019, and refund me, as I would like to continue doing business with a more competent company.

19 Mar 2019, 16:20You sent a reasonable response, AFTER I posted on helloPeter. I sent another query, with another dismal response. So, clearly this is the dance, I escalate, and then you read the query and respond appropriately.
For anyone considering using 1grid, factor in the extra time it takes to escalate the simplest of matters.
In my ongoing and laborious pursuit to get some guidance as to how I actually get to the platform where I design my website (still no clear feedback on this), I sent this query:
"Hello Yusuf
I am trying create and edit the website.
When I open the Wordpress manager app, I am given the following message:
No compatible WordPress sites exist on this cPanel account. Create site
When I try to create a site, I am told that the function has been disabled, please advise."
I the receive the following reply:
"Hi Bernardus,
Thank you for contacting 1-Grid, we are happy to assist.
In the installation process of Wordpress, there is a login link that is provided along with login details that you need to create.
The link is normally set up in this format:
"yourdomain"/wp-admin
The link will load a login page like the one below for you to enter the details you confirmed in the installation process."
I was not asking about the installation process. My above query clearly shows that I have already installed Wordpress. There is also no mention of the issue that I am actually raising.
This is wasting so much of my time, as well as the resources of 1-Grid. They keep having to re-engage this matter because they don't address the actual question.
