Absolute bliss!
I would like ti take this chance so praise 1-Grid and especially Bonisani (one of the staff members) for their great support and service over the last years.
I use to host with another company that was then acquired by WebAfrica (which at the time was a subsidiary of 1-Grid). Now when I was told about his, I expected some downtime and difficulty due to restructuring, but this was not the case. Then again when 1-Grid parted with WebAfrica I expected the same, and however there was a few hiccups, it was quickly resolved.
That account was for a simple shared hosting account, but as Ad****paign grown bigger our demand for more hosting space and resources grew with it.
Earlier this year We bit the bullet, and requested to upgrade from the shared hosting plan up to the Business Virtual Private Server Package. Now let me tell you, this was no small task. With over a 100 domains that had to be moved, each with live email accounts and website this was one thing I was not looking forward too.
Yes there was some hiccups again but Bonisani was on top of things, he had frequent communication via emails, and when things was unclear he didn't hesitate to pick up the phone to rectify potentially huge problems before they had happened.
In addition Andiswa also stood by when it was required also phoning in to make sure things was in order.
Then after this whole charade was done I again received a call from Tabile from their customer satisfaction department to find out if everything was sorted and that it was done in a manor I would approve of.
Now, I want to tell you. No matter what you have heard about 1-Grid and their team.... Forget it. These guys are fabulous.
I can think of several bigger brands (Will rather not name them, but one that is very popular today after they were acquired by one of the top three telecommunication networks in SA.. Yeah you know who they are) that they do not offer a fraction of the support I receive from 1-Grid.
