1-grid the worst web hosting platform!

1-grid has got to be the worst web host I’ve used. I began having problems with my website after changing to 1-grid. Some of my issues included gross malware and multiple hacks, spam ads and failed attempts at opening my website and, the worst part, Instagram blocking my link because of poor web security.

In the last month I have spent in excess of R250 on the telephone with support to try and solve these problems and each time a quick solution was given and the site would break a week later. When I wanted to speak to a developer to ask key questions I was told that they do not speak to clients, yet the support team is ill-equipped to deal with problems. I’d also log tickets and get a response a day or two later, saying that my query was resolved, even when nobody had contacted me. I’d also been promised on more than one occasion that a consultant would get back to me with a query, only for them to never return my call. When I finally moved my domain, that request sat there until I makes the call and, unsurprisingly, when they lost me as a domain holder I, then, got a phone call to ask why. The apologies were endless and the solutions, non-existent.

I would recommend that you stay far away from this hosting platform because they don’t know what they are doing and provide really weak security for your site.
