1-grid negative review.
I required assistance from 1-grid. Initially, they were somewhat helpful and were working to resolve my matter. The agent often asked me to please leave him a review. I made the mistake of assuming that they would follow through with my issues, so I wrote a positive review. Then they stopped assisting me. I called an unimaginable amount of times and sent many emails asking for assistance. I ended up having to explain my story to many other agents, who promised to get back to me and sort out my problems. They never stuck to their promises. A few months later, I was reminded of my positive reviews, so I went online and changed them to reflect the truth. I almost immediately started receiving calls from 1-grid offering to sort out my problem! Due to the fact that it is months later, I had made alternative arrangements. I asked them to please stop calling me, however, they persisted. I eventually had to threaten to lay a charge of harassment because they continued to call me. Even after asking them to stop and threatening to lay a complaint of harassment, they continued to call. Two lessons that you can take from this. 1. Never write a review until your problem is 100% sorted out. 2. If you have a negative experience, write a negative review; as it seems like the only way to get any action.
My recommendation is to choose a different company for your hosting, domain, email, etc. requirements; if writing a negative review is the only way to get any action on a problem, then there are other companies to choose from.
I have wasted lots of airtime and time on this so it just isn't worth it.
I decided to challenge the dispute and found quite a bit of evidence (I wish I had it all) and information that backed up my story; so I supp**** the administrators with it. I am happy to note that they took my information and decided that my story did indeed back up my claims and therefore, they agreed to keep my review posted.
Something really important to remember when you are having a bad experience is to keep as much information and communication as possible. Even record calls if needed as the companies that record calls will never supply you with a recording - especially if it can be used against them. This will assist you later on down the line if the matter goes legal, is disputed, or if you write a truthful and negative review that the company involved disputes so that they can try and sweep it under the carpet.
I have also learned that hellopeter is great and impartial as a review site. Don't keep quiet as we deserve far better service and this platform obviously has a great impact.
Lesson learned!
